Shipping and Delivery Information
At Sweet Temptations we offer a variety of ways to make gift shopping or indulging in that sweet tooth as convenient as possible. We’ll ship, deliver, or prepare your order for pick-up. With that in mind, doesn’t that make birthday, anniversary, or holiday gift giving a little less stressful?
Warm weather shipping rates for Chocolates and Candies are effective May 1st through October 1st. Ice blocks and additional packaging materials are necessary to insure proper shipping quality. Because temperatures vary across the country, we choose not to ship over the weekend in order to ensure premium quality upon arrival. Sweet Temptations is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the shipping service due to weather or circumstances beyond our control. We will not be responsible for packages that are returned to our shop as undeliverable--the customer will still be charged. If a returned package needs to be shipped out a second time, the customer will incur a second shipping charge.

Shipping Options
We ship year-round with standard delivery arriving within 3-7 business days of ordering. Shipping restrictions prohibit us from shipping to P.O., A.P.O., A.F.B., or F.P.O. box addresses. Rural route box, highway or star route address will only be accepted with a phone number. Since we ship perishable items, we select the best shipping available to reach its destination with care. We offer two shipping options:
- Standard Shipping -- Ships within 3-5 business days after placement of order (back ordered items ship as soon as available).
- 2nd Day Express -- Upon receipt of your order by noon CST, we will ship your order for 2nd day delivery.
Additional shipping charges per shipped address. Delivery to Alaska or Hawaii add $20.
Delivery
Limited delivery available. Please contact us at 563-263-2169 or 877-263-2169 for delivery fees. Free delivery on orders over $50. There is no minimum required for delivery.
Curbside Pick-Up Available
We may not have a drive-thru window, but we certainly don't lack creativity!
For your convenience: Call ahead with your complete order and let us know what time to expect you so we can have it ready for you when you arrive. Curbside orders must be pre-paid by credit card.
Sales Tax
Iowa State and Local Taxes apply (7%).
